Ms. Linda Leonardo’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing class recently got the opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to the test. In preparation for the district showdown between the Grand Avenue Braves and the Merrick Avenue Rams, students prepared projects to market and support the event. Their projects, such as preparing programs for the event, making signs, and creating a frame for photo-ops, allowed students to use what they have been learning all semester for a real sporting event. The game takes place Friday, January 12th, at 4:30 pm. Future Kennedy students will also be able to take tours of the school and meet members of various clubs and activities.
