Fortnite is a third-person video game that you can play solo or with friends, in the Battle Royale or Save the World modes. The basic premise of Fortnite is that you, the player, are part the of the 2% of the world’s population that remains after the world has been struck by enormous storms. You must survive in this post-apocalyptic world where, by the way, you are being attacked by zombies. The player must find resources, create weapons, build forts, and fight off the zombies to keep the survivors safe.

Battle Royale is similar to King of the Hill, meaning the last person or team standing wins the game. The game varies in difficulty due to the random match-making, meaning you could find yourself playing against a first time player or other players who are as good as the best players in the world (like Ninja or the Myth). This makes the game extremely addictive because every game you play, brings a different ending, different encounters with other players, and many different skill levels of players. There are a variety of locations on the map at which you can land, such as Tilted Towers, Retail Row, Salty Springs, or Anarchy Acres. Battle Royale is the most popular game mode in Fortnite due to the adrenaline rush it provides, when you are one of the final people left in the arena. When that victory “#1 Victory Royale” banner appears on your screen, you get a memory that is unforgettable, filled with joy and excitement.

Fortnite has also become extremely popular within pop culture recently. Streamers, like Ninja, have attracted many celebrities to play the game. This includes people like Lil Yachty, Travis Scott, Drake, JuJu Smith-Schuster, as well as many more. This makes the game even more popular because many people look up to these celebrities and want to emulate their actions by playing this game too. This game is also very popular because it is played all around the world. In our experience, we have even played with people from Brazil and Portugal. This makes the game internationally known and makes it more available to anybody.

The game is available on multiple platforms including Xbox 1, Playstation 4, PC and even Mac. This allows for cross-compatibility, so that different platforms can play with each other; for example, PC players can play with Playstation 4 players. This gives people a chance to play with friends with whom they wouldn’t normally be able to play due to different gaming systems. Lastly, Fortnite is introducing Mobile Fortnite, which will be available on iOS and Android in the future. This will allow players to play on the go using their mobile phones. Registration for this was on their website, but it was so popular that the website even crashed. Many look forward to being able to play on smart phones, as well as the constant updates that are coming out for the game.
