The Cougar Crier

Gustave Gottlieb is a Senior at John F. Kennedy High School and is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Cougar Crier. He has been working as an editor for the newspaper for the past four years. Besides his passion for world events, politics and journalism, he is fascinated with the studies of chemical forensics, psychology and pathology, and intends to work within the field of forensics in the future and achieve a doctorate in biochemical studies. He has spent the past few summers participating in a wilderness camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, attending the elite NSLC program in Washington, D.C., for future forensic scientists, and lastly working in chemistry labs at both the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and SUNY Old Westbury. While Gustave is secure and confident with his own political beliefs, he is always open minded and willing to have a mature, intellectual and just debate with any peer interested.
